Fuze was a challenge for my team. We were tasked with evoking drinkable moments full of bold, fruity flavor but due to legal restrictions couldn’t show any actual fruit. Half joking, I asked the client, “what about emoji fruits?” 🙈🙉🙊 It turned out to be the perfect solution—fun and fruity without photographing or illustrating fruit. The emojis also helped the brand feel more like it was speaking the language of social media and connecting with their audience in an authentic way. Our work set new brand records for engagement and measurably drove trial and conversion through various activations and integrated experiential events.

2015 – 2017
In the summer of 2016 Fuze promoted their partnership with Subway through a series of in-store deals and coupons. We created gifs and images to celebrate that partnership on social media. Lacking assets, we leaned into a collage style that brought the two brands together visually and allowed us enough flexibility to incorporate stock imagery.
